Days of Vologda Region in Chinese People's Republic will start today.

Trade, economic, tourism and cultural potential of the Vologda Region will be presented in the People's Republic of China for the first time ever. The event will be held with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and the Embassy of the Russian Federation in China.
Business events will be held in Beijing, Shanghai and Xi'an. This will be a significant step in expanding and strengthening international cooperation with China.
Meetings will be held in Beijing with Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the People's Republic of China Igor Morgulov, Trade Representative of the Russian Federation to the People's Republic of China Alexey Dahnovsky, Deputy Chairman of the People's Political Consultative Council of Beijing, Director of the Center for Wushu Management at the State Sports Committee of China, President of the All-China Wushu Association, as well as with the heads of industrial associations and unions.
"In Beijing and Shanghai, we will take part in the plenary session of the forum "Days of the Vologda Region in China". As a result, we plan to sign a number of cooperation agreements that will significantly affect the development of economically important industries for our region," noted Vologda Region Governor Georgy Filimonov.
