Cooperation of Vologda Region and China: 15 agreements worth $ 29 million.

During a meeting with members of Vologda Region Government, Georgy Filimonov assessed the results and prospects for development of international cooperation.
"In November, the Vologda Region Days were held in China. As a result of numerous negotiations with our Chinese partners, we have concluded fifteen agreements totaling $29 million. Following the visit, a partnership agreement was signed with Shaanxi Province, and in 2025 it is planned to sign similar agreements with Húnán and Jiangsu provinces. In total, nine interregional agreements were signed in 2024," the Vologda Region Governor said.
In 2024, four export contracts were signed. Vologda ice cream and fish flour will be supplied to China, milk powder - to Algeria, and confectionery - to Azerbaijan.
Thirty six documents totaling RUB 149.5 billion were signed during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in June 2024.
In total, fifteen international events were held in the region during the year. The Vologda Region welcomed thirteen foreign delegations from the CIS countries, Asia and the Middle East.
