A new polyclinic will be built soon in Vologda City.

An idea of building a new polyclinics was supported by the President of Russia during his visit to Cherepovets in February 2020.
Construction of a healthcare facility in Byvalovo Area of Vologda will begin in 2022. The new polyclinic will be put into operation in 2024. The federal budget will allot finances to authorize expenditures for these purposes.
The new polyclinic in Vologda will become one of the biggest polyclinics with averagely 600 patients per day. It will admit about 30,000 patients all in all.
“I am grateful to President Vladimir Putin and the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation for supporting our initiative. It is necessary to detect potential health disorders or early-stage disease, preventing their further development, The new modern facility, together with federal and regional support, will allow us to solve the main task that the President sets for us - to provide higher-quality primary medical care for all residents,” Governor Oleg Kuvshinnikov said.
