On October 25 the Vologda Region celebrates a Vologda Butter Day.
Governor of the Vologda Region Oleg Kuvshinnikov issued a proclamation naming October 25, as Vologda Butter Day. This year it is celebrated for the second time.
24 batches of birch veneer produced in Vologda Region were exported to China, Vietnam and Egypt. All products meet the phytosanitary requirements of the importing country.

V Russian Dairy Industry Forum will open in Vologda on Oct 25.
The main objective of the forum is to exchange between professionals about the current situation of the dairy industry in Russia. This will be the meeting of milk producers, milk processors and scientists.
Russian Forest, an international exhibition for innovation technologies to be applied in the timber industry, in production of technological equipment for forestry and manufacture of wood and wood-working articles is to be held in Vologda City on Dec 6-8.

The night of November 4 will keep art lovers awake in Vologda and other cities and towns of Vologda Region.
The Russia International Exhibition and Forum will open on November 4 at VDNH in Moscow. The regions of the Russian Federation, federal executive bodies, nonprofit organisations, state corporations, and foreign representatives will take part in it.

In September, 1608 cubic meters of timber and lumber of deciduous and coniferous species were exported to India from the Vologda Region.
