Vologda Oblast – Czech Republic: strive to develop partnership ties.
A delegation from the Czech Republic led by Consul General of the Czech Republic in St. Petersburg Mr. Karel Kyunl arrived in Vologda to define guidelines for further partnership ties.

The delegation from Vologda took part in a conference devoted to promoting of tourism products in Russia’s North that was held in Veliky Novgorod on December 14. The conference was attended by representatives of the Federal Tourism Agency, delegates of executive bodies in the sphere of tourism, experts in the field of tourism and marketing, employees of tourist companies, and mass media representatives.
The meeting devoted to forest industry development was chaired by Sergei Donskoi, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation.
The competitions were held during the speedskating World Cup season at Thialf Oval in Heerenveen (the Netherlands).
