II Russian Dairy Industry Forum “Vologda-Dairy Capital of Russia” will kick off  in Vologda on November 30th.

Last year the Forum was visited by more than 500 participants from 15 Russian regions and 5 foreign countries. Representatives of the RF Ministry of Agriculture, Russian experts of agribusiness and dairy industry, leading scientists, farmers, as well as foreign guests from the Republic of Belarus, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Sweden and China came to Vologda to participate in the forum.

On November 7th Governor of Vologda Region Oleg Kuvshinnikov visited the District of Kadui.

The District of Kadui is situated in the south-west of the Vologda Region. It has a very advantageous location, as it is situated at the intersection of highways and railroads. One of the major transportation routes connecting Central Russia and the Urals passes through the settlement of Kadui. Kadui is 18 km off the federal highway "Vologda-Novaya Ladoga" that links St.Petersburg with Veliky Ustyug, the hometown of Father Frost, and 56 km from Cherepovets, a big railway junction.

Representatives of travel agencies from St. Petersburg, Republic of Karelia and Republic of Komi, Archangelsk, Vologda, Kaliningrad and Leningrad regions arrived in Vologda to discuss a tourism project “Silver Necklace of Russia”.

Considered one of the premier saxophonists of his generation, Vincent Herring is a saxophone virtuoso with a uniquely intense and vigorous musical voice. He first toured Europe and the United States in the early 1980s.

The 5th TEREM CROSSOVER International Music Competition was held in St. Petersburg, Russia on October 22-26 with the support of the Government of St. Petersburg.
