The historical and cultural heritage of the Vologda Region represents unique spiritual and architectural values created in the past that form the all-Russian cultural heritage.

Applications for participation in XV International Drama Festival “Voices of History” will be accepted until February 28th, 2022.

Vologda Region is among 23 Russian regions that joined the humanitarian mission in Syria.

At the end of 2021, sweets, books and gifts for Syrian children were handed over by a delegation of the Vologda Oblast Government led by Deputy Governor Eduard Zainak. The humanitarian mission was organized by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

Vozhega-born athlete Denis Spitsov will take part in the 2022 Olympic Winter Games in Beijing.

Beijing will host the XXIV Olympic Winter Games on February 4-20, 2022.
