My congratulations on National Unity Day!
National Unity Day is marked in Russia on November 4. This day has gone down in history as a day of unity of the people. Its origins go very far back to important events in the Russian history.

On Nov 4th Vologda Region will mark National Unity Day.
The public holiday was established in honour of events of 1612 when Russian voluntary troops commanded by Kuzma Minin and Dmitry Pozharsky liberated Moscow from foreign invaders.

An international festival named after Valery Gavrilin, the great Russian composer opened in Vologda on Oct 19 with a concert dedicated to the musician. Valery Gavrilin was born in Vologda and travelled extensively in order to pursue his study of folk music.
An online meeting of 23 Vologda-based companies with the Trade Mission of the Russian Federation in South Korea was held on October 25.
This year’s Night of the Arts will once again transform Vologda into a stage for numerous cultural events and performances.
