Acting Governor of the Vologda Region Oleg Kuvshinnikov has won the governor elections in the region held on September 14, a single voting day in Russia.

Mr. Kuvshinnikov will be awarded Road Home Program at the International Investment Forum Sochi-2014 that will be held on September 18-21.

The city's mega-museum was founded with a donation from Ante "Mimara" Topic and opened to the public in 1987. It is located in a neo-Renaissance palace from the end of the 19th century. The holdings comprise 3,750 works of art of various techniques and materials, and different cultures and civilizations. On display there are sculptures, paintings, crafts and much more.

The Forum will take place from 18 to 21 September 2014. The Sochi International Investment Forum is a modern platform for constructive dialogue between business and government that is necessary for the successful implementation of major investment projects on Russian territory.

International Swedish-Russian seminar was arranged in the Vologda Oblast Court. Participating in the seminar were Mrs. Veronika Bard Bringeus, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Sweden in Russia, Tatyana Shanina, Deputy of the Director General of the Judicial Department at the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, along with judges from around Russia’s North-West and Sweden.
