On the night of May 14 to 15, museums across Europe took part in the Long Night of Museums. On this night, local cultural institutions stayed open extra-late to celebrate culture, science, and education.

Over 1000 craftsmen from Russia, France, France, Iran and China are to participate in the 3rd International festival “Voice of Crafts” in Vologda on June 23-26, 2016.
Over 1000 craftsmen from Russia, France, France, Iran and China are to participate in the 3rd International festival “Voice of Crafts” in Vologda on June 23-26, 2016.

The festival is aimed at popularization of folk arts and handicrafts among the younger generation. It will be arranged with an active backing of the Vologda City Administration and a Handicrafts Centre “Reznoi Palisad (Carved Fence)”.
