Marked by mass deaths of civilians and the strategic bombing of industrial and population centres it resulted in millions of fatalities. Unfortunately, there are people who want to rewrite history, revise the outcome of the war. The Prague authorities are mulling dismantling a monument to renowned Soviet marshal Ivan Konev.
