Historical reenactment festival "Kirillo- Belozersky Siege" will be held in Kirillov on June 21-22. The festival has been staged in the Kirillo-Belozersky museum for several years. It is one of the most spectacular summer events in Kirillov.

Georgy Filimonov, Vologda Region Governor, spoke at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum about the region's relations with the Republic of Belarus and called on Belarusian entrepreneurs to cooperate more actively with our region.

Vologda City is taking part in the competition "Cultural Capital of Russia 2027". The popular vote for the "Cultural Capital 2027" will last until December 5. More than 26,300 people have already voted for Vologda to become the "Cultural Capital".

VOICES (Vologda Independent Cinema from European Screens) Festival has become the unique place for meeting young filmmakers. Every year it presents the creations of both well-known directors and beginners.

On June 18th, many of the region's museums and galleries offer free entry in order to have a more diverse range of visitors.

The festival is to be held on August 9-10 as part of the Summer of the Russian North project initiated by Vologda Region Governor Georgy Filimonov. It will be held with the support of the Vologda Region Government and the Kirillov Municipality.
