The military-historical festival "Kirillo- Belozersky Siege" is a celebration of the history of the 17th century for residents and guests of the Vologda Region. The participants of the festival are military-historical clubs from all over Russia.
The festival will be held on August 9-10 as part of the Summer of the Russian North project initiated by Vologda Region Governor Georgy Filimonov.
The traditional Garden of Memory international campaign is dedicated this year to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory and the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland.
The District of Kirillov (Vologda Region) has launched a Tree of Memory campaign. Its goal is to perpetuate the memory of people who died during the Great Patriotic War.
The festival has been staged in the Kirillo-Belozersky museum for several years. Clubs from different Russian cities will take part in it. This festival is one of the most spectacular summer events in Kirillov.
The annual sports festival "In the Snows of Kirillov" and the Russian Snowmobile and Snow Bike Enduro Championships will be held on March 1 in the Kirillov District.
On February 26, Mr. Jean-Christophe Thiabaud, Consul General of France in St. Petersburg, made a visit to the Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Reserve and the Museum of Dionisy's Frescoes (Vologda Region).
The exhibition “Laces of Russian North” kicked off at a branch of the Mikhail Sholokhov State Museum-Reserve in October.
The Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Preserve is a place of great historical significance. The majestic architectural ensemble of the Кirillo-Belozersky Monastery is one of the largest in Russia. It has kept architectural monuments of XV-XIX centuries, massive walls and towers.
The festival will be held on August 10-11 as part of the Summer of the Russian North project initiated by Acting Governor Georgy Filimonov.
The exhibition “Laces of Russian North” that kicked off at the Tula Museum Association will last till September 21, 2024.
