The exhibition of Vologda’s lace kicked off at the Elabuga Museum-Preserve. The exhibition of over 200 Vologda’s laceworks will become a magnet for residents of the Republic of Tatarstan and guests.
This year, sturgeon caviar from Kadui district (Vologda Region) has been exported to India, Jordan and Thailand. The Republic of Korea is the fourth country that has concluded agreements on supply of black caviar from our region.
The festival will be hosted by Kirillov District on August 9-10 as part of the Summer of the Russian North project initiated by Vologda Region Governor Georgy Filimonov. It will be held with the support of the Vologda Region Government and the Kirillov Municipality.
The Russian Club of Sydney recently hosted a Day of Folk Crafts, which brought together dozens of craftsmen and collectors, as well as more than a hundred folk art lovers.
