Since the beginning of 2025, 3 469 tons of technical fat have been exported from the Vologda Region to Poland. In the same period of 2024, 3 208 tons were exported. Thus, technical fat exports increased by 8%.

The North-Western Interregional Administration of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision (Rosselkhoznadzor) recorded a 15% increase in exports of birch veneer from the Vologda Region.

Since the beginning of 2025, 164 tons of wood chip have been delivered to the Republic of Belarus from the Vologda Region.

V International Vita Lace Festival opened in Vologda City on July 17. It will last till July 20.

671,000 cu m of timber and sawn timber harvested by Vologda-based enterprises have been shipped to foreign countries since the beginning of the year. In the first half of the year, the volume of exports of these products from the Vologda Region increased by more than 5%.
