Fashion Industry: Our future lies with Vologda linen!

Representing the products of Vologda Textile, JSC Rulinen Group has asserted itself again by opening the Fashion Industry 2011 International Exhibition with its new clothing collection called "Grey Rose Souvenirs".
Becoming the General Partner of the Exhibition, the Company has proven over again that Russia's leading producer of linen textiles and clothing can compete at the highest level.
The opening ceremony was brightened up with "Exercice" collection by fashion designer Vyacheslav Zaitsev - a special guest of the Exhibition. The models from his new collection were made exclusively of Vologda Textiles fabrics. Maestro explained his choice by the fact that linen attracted him throughout his entire professional life. However, Russia was so far lacking a manufacturer able to provide competitive products at the domestic and European markets. Having visited Vologda Textile, Vyacheslav Zaitsev was pleasantly surprised; it appeared that there was a Russian company that manufactured linen fabric of the highest European quality.
"All my life I've been sincerely and self-forgetful committed to the Beauty" – Vyacheslav Zaitsev said at the Opening. "Rulinen Group fabrics are both fashionable and beautiful. I am very pleased that today we have signed Memorandum of Cooperation!"
Nikolay Aleksov, the President of the Dominion Management Company, which Rulinen Group is a part of, in his turn, has spoken on the importance of the Memorandum. For the company it is very important that Russian designers started using Russian fabrics for their collections. "I feel confident that our cooperation with the Vyacheslav Zaitsev Moscow House of Fashion will be long-lasting and fruitful", concluded Nikolay Aleksov.
Rulinen Group represents the products of Vologda Textiles, JSC - a leading manufacturer of dress goods and suitings – since 2002. And in 2008 the company became a key member of the Pilot project for the "Development of Vologda region linen sector through intersectoral and interterritorial cooperation." Deputy head Vologda Region Investment Department Aleksey Maklakhov spoke about it at the XIII Fashion Industry Economic Forum, which was held within a framework of the Exhibition.
"Many in Russia have spoken of the need to produce linen suitings and dress goods group of products, but we did it", - said Aleksey Maklakhov. "Rulinen Group has ambitious design bureau that cooperates with leading Russian fashion designers when developing its fabrics. The participation in Premiere Vision Exhibition in Paris in February this year is a great honor, as well as a signal that our product is of interest for the market".
"Rulinen Group takes care of a very important business", commented Vice-President of the National Fashion Industry Academy Lyudmila Ivanova. "People are thirsty for a product, which our country was once proud of. Linen is a luxury that we, Russians, can afford".
Rulinen Group booth, representing the whole range of the Company products, served to provide a vivid confirmation of this thesis. This new season Rulinen Group showcased new Autumn-Winter 2011/2012 industrial collections of men's and women's clothing made of linen. The collections were brought out under three brand names: Dolce Lino, Lino Fiore for women, and Lino Domeni - for men. Leisure wear collection made of natural linen has as well, become seasonal novelty. Linen fabric and flax-type textiles from a new Spring-Summer 2012 collection, home textile products from Spring-Summer 2011 collection and Vologda thread-lace were also presented at our booth.
