Vladimir Putin signed Executive Order On Acting Governor of the Vologda Region.
Following a resignation notice from Governor of the Vologda Region Oleg Kuvshinnikov on the early termination of his powers and in accordance with Federal Law No. 414-FZ of December 21, 2021, On the General Principles of Public Administration in the Constituent Entities of the Russian Federation, the President resolved to accept the voluntary resignation of Vologda Region Governor Oleg Kuvshinnikov.
The President also resolved to appoint Georgy Filimonov Acting Governor of the Vologda Region until an elected governor takes office.
