Vologda Butter, A Special Version of Butter Only in Russia

You know about butter, right? In everyday life, we often use butter in the dishes we eat. Both the appetizers to the desserts. There are many dishes that use butter as one of the ingredients to make that dish.
One of the most visited places in Vologda is Kremlin - the most important historical monument and the permanent symbol of the city. The structure of the Vologda Kremlin complex includes the former Bishop's house with powerful fortification walls, the beautiful Resurrection Cathedral, and the St. Sophia Bell tower. All these buildings were erected in the 17th-19th centuries. Also in the Kremlin territory a huge number of monuments of wooden architecture were preserved. In addition to the Cathedral Hill and Kremlin, guests of Vologda need to visit the historic district of Zarechye. Here you can see a lot of beautiful historical buildings and churches, which after centuries managed to survive in its original form.

Colors of Vologda - traditions, festival, mentality and lifestyle

Goritsy - St. Cyril on the White Lake Monastery

Goritsy town is one of the stops on the cruise route between Moscow and St. Petersburg. This small port is located on the shore of the Sheksna river. Already from the pier, you are able to see the walls of the The Goritsy Monastery of Resurrection and feel the spirit and stillness of this place. The city center offers variety of souvenirs and different snacks, and you might enjoy sightseeing without going too far from the ship. Nevertheless, the main attraction lays 7 km further from the town - the St. Cyril on the White Lake Monastery. Majority of tourists come to this place in order to witness the ancientness and greatness of this Monastery and Fortress of the past times.

On 3 March 2021, the new Sokol CLT plant shipped Russia's first mass-produced cross-laminated timber (CLT) panels to its first customer, a buyer in the Leningrad Region. The plant belongs to Segezha Group, a Sistema JSFC company.
