Today Anatoly Frishman, General Director of SVEZA, and Bertel Karlstedt, President, Pulp and Energy of Valmet, the leading global developer and supplier of process technologies, automation and services for the pulp, paper and energy industries, signed a Memorandum of Understanding as part of the visit to Finland of the Russian governmental delegation headed by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev. The agenda of the meeting of the Russian and Finnish prime ministers is focused on the economical cooperation, mainly cooperation on industrial projects.

Windar Renovables Opens Russia's First Wind Turbine Tower Factory

Spanish company Windar Renovables has brought the manufacturing of wind turbine towers to Russia. The manufacturing plant run by WRS Towers, a partnership including the Russian groups Rusnano MC and Severstal PSJC and led by Windar, has begun operations. It is the first production center for this type of equipment to be established in the country, where an ambitious wind farm installation program is to begin immediately.
