Lease financing helps to optimize furniture production

Mebel.net (VST GRUPP) is one of the leading Russian producers and suppliers of furniture with metal base. Furniture production was founded in 1993 on the base of the metallurgical plant Severstal situated in Cherepovets. Almost from the very beginning of the plant’s history, its products entered the country furniture market and earned popularity. On February 2013 Severstal-mebel changed its legal name to VST GRUPP and its products gained the new name as well, i.e. Mebel.net. Today VST GRUPP produces more than 300 types of furniture, offers made-to-measure services and performs complex orders using local metal. Moreover, the company creates metal constructions. For example, Gazprom orders support columns for fences produced by VST GRUPP. However, main attention is paid to the development of furniture for medical, educational, municipal and sport organizations, cafes, restaurants and places of public catering.
High-quality furniture, affordable prices and favourable working conditions let the company win the tender for supplying furniture to the Olympic village in Sochi. Thus, more than 20 000 sleeping beds, tables, chairs and hallstands were delivered there. As a result, VST GRUPP became the one and only company that managed to handle all the task of Olimpstroy effectively and within a tight schedule. Now there is a chance for the company to take part in constructing social objects for FIFA World Cup 2018.
In order to improve technical characteristics of furniture and expand company’s product line, VST GRUPP constantly optimizes its production processes. In 2014 with the help of lease financing the company purchased a modern pipe-bending machine SB-39-4A-3SV. This equipment is a partly paid one; however, VST GRUPP has already started using it and, as a result, succeeded in expanding company’s product line. For example, the company has started to produce metal chairs with curved backs. In addition to it, new equipment has helped VST GRUPP to increase manufacturing speed.

Today Siemens Finance is ready to provide lease financing for equipment of 45 different fields, including furniture production. The company has already realized 20 projects for Russian manufactures of furniture. Siemens Finance’s representative office in Vologda, which was opened in 2013, is responsible for financing SMEs of Vologodskays oblast. According to Victor Salitanov, Siemens Finance actively supports its customers when it comes to business optimization. Currently the company does not stop providing lease financing for purchasing modern manufacturing, energy, medical and other equipment.
