Father Frost is on tour of Russia and foreign countries

Father Frost has set out on his traditional tour of Russia and foreign countries in the run-up to the New Year.
In Salehard, on Siberia’s Yamal Peninsula, he is due to meet the Father Frost of the North, Iri, to start the city New Year party and visit orphanages.
On November 29, he is expected in Germany, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. He will meet his German counterpart, Weihnachtsmann, in the city of Peine, to open a Christmas bazaar there.
In the Czech Republic, the Russian Santa Claus will socialize with the members of the Russian community of the city of Ostrava.
And he is due in Slovakia on December 4, when Slovaks will celebrate one of their favorite holidays, St. Mikulas Day.
