The Olympic Torch Relay visited Vologda today. 130 torchbearers ran 22.5 km through the streets of the city, including the 2000th torchbearer of the Sochi 2014 Relay. Among the Olympic torchbearers were those nominated by Sochi 2014 Presenting Partners: the Coca-Cola Company, OSAO Ingosstrakh, and OAO Russian Railways.
Aleksey Sokolov, a 92-year-old veteran of the Great Patriotic War and skating coach, started the fourteenth day of the Sochi 2014 Torch Relay. He lit his torch and began his journey with the Olympic flame to the city center.

In Petrozavodsk, the Sochi 2014 Torch Relay route will continue to the waterfront of Lake Onega, past the monument to Peter I, and the celebration will end with fireworks forming the Olympic rings.
