X International Gavrilin Festival is to be held in Vologda this autumn.

X International Gavrilin Festival is to be held in Vologda this autumn.

The festival is named after Valery Gavrilin, the great Russian composer, People's artist of Russia who was born in Vologda.

The festival is organized by the Vologda Region Government, Department of Culture and Tourism of the Vologda Region and Vologda Philharmonic Society.

The main objective of the event is to reveal new talents and to perpetuate the memory of Valery Gavrilin.

This year it is devoted to the 85th anniversary of the birth of Valery Gavrilin.

World famous Bolshoi Theatre might present Anyuta ballet set to music by Valery Gavrilin.
