Volume of agricultural exports increased by 28% in the Vologda Oblast.

In 2021, Vologda’s producers increased exports of food products and agricultural raw materials by more than 28%. One of the main reasons for it is the increase in the volume of supplies of high added value products, primarily food products and beverages.
Confectionery, baby food and cereals, fine and coarse flours, ice-cream and alcoholic beverages are Vologda's leading export items.
The volume of exports of agricultural products (in comparable prices) amounted to USD 43.7 mln in 2021. Agricultural products of the Vologda Region were exported to 42 countries. Uzbekistan, China, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Ukraine were the most active trade partners of the Vologda Region.
The Vologda Oblast is famous for the quality and environmental friendliness of the top-quality Vologda products made with local raw materials and using traditional methods - dairy products, world famous Vologda butter, sausage, confectionery, honey, willow herb tea and others.
