Vologda will host Library Night on May 27.

Participants of the action “Library Night” are waiting for performances, lectures and concerts on May 27.
Library Night is held in all Russian regions on an annual basis. This is when libraries and art spaces open their doors to visitors in the night time. This day is an opportunity for people to celebrate the valuable role that libraries play in their lives.
The project includes numerous events held at Vologda’s libraries - concerts, workshops, musical performances and lectures.
All activities will be connected with the magic of books, music and creativity. Events there will start at 7.00 pm. The city’s libraries invite everyone in Vologda for cultural exchange.
Visitors to the Library Night will have an opportunity to communicate with writers, participate in creative workshops, literary quests, and enjoy theater readings, performances, and literary lectures.
