Vologda's tourism potential was presented at two international travel fairs.

Vologda’s experts participated in the International Trade Fair for Travel & Tourism Intourmarket (ITM) and International Travel and Tourism Exhibition (MITT) which were held in Moscow from March 19-26.

ITM is the main tourism event that is officially supported by the Russian Federal Agency for Tourism and other federal and professional organizations contributing to the travel industry development in Russia.

MITT is Russia’s largest and longest running travel exhibition.

These forums bring together hosted buyers and travel professionals from all Russian regions with Russian and international tourism key players.

The most famous and respectable Vologda's tour operators participated in the exhibitions.

The delegation from the Vologda Oblast presented tourism opportunities of the Vologda Region to the visitors of the exhibitions and told about its main places of interest, itineraries, hotels and sanatoriums.

Vologda’s experts took part in numerous meetings, business meetings and round tables devoted to development of domestic tourism in Russia.
