Vologda’s enterprises are taking part in St. Petersburg's Christmas Fair.

The Fair is designed to combine the original Russian and European Christmas and New Year traditions, absorbing the best from the different national cultures.
This year, the festival will be held in international format — national Christmas and New Year traditions will be represented by many foreign countries. It is expected that the St Petersburg Christmas Fair 2013 will welcome participants from 15 CIS- and foreign countries. Among the participants there are visitors from Germany, Austria, Sweden, Hungary, Lithuania, Belarus, Ukraine, Korea, China, the USA and from 10 Russian regions, the Vologda Oblast included.
Vologda’s stalls offer a vast selection of dairy products, frozen berries and mushrooms, candies, honey, laceworks and flaxen goods.
St Petersburg's Christmas Fair will run till January 12, 2014. During these days every country will show to the public their own cultural programs and treat guests with dishes of national cuisine.
