Vologda Region exported 23 tons of technical fat to Lithuania.

Technical fat is made from that part of the animal base, which it is not possible to use in the production of food products. However, it can be successfully used for the manufacture of cosmetics, the production of grease and other technical liquids.
Lithuania became the second country that received technical fat from the Vologda Region in 2023. Since the beginning of the year, 2266 tons of technical fat have been exported to Poland.
All products passed the necessary control and fully complied with the veterinary and sanitary requirements of the importing country.
In 2022, 3206 tons of technical fat were exported from the Vologda Region to the EU countries - Poland, the Czech Republic and Sweden.
