Vologda Region exported 19,4 tonnes of ice cream to Africa.

Vologda-based ice cream manufacturer exported 19,4 tonnes of its ice-cream notable for natural taste free from vegetable fats to the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire and Senegal.

Two batches of ice cream with a total weight of 13.4 tonnes were delivered from the Vologda Region to the Republic of Côte. Another one with a total weight of about 6 tonnes was exported to Senegal.

Vologda’s ice cream is notable for diversity of flavors. Chocolate ice, ice cream in small waffle briquettes, ice cream with waffle cups, fruity ice-cream - 250 types all in all are produced by the Vologda Ice-Cream.

Taste and quality of Vologda’s ice cream is first of all determined by quality of raw materials - milk, cream and butter. The Vologda Ice-Cream cooperates with local farmers who can guarantee sustained high quality of milk and dairy products.

Vologda’s ice-cream is exported to many African countries - Cameroon, Côte d'Ivoire, Congo, Senegal and Kenya.
