The Vologda optical-and-mechanical plant manufactures optical-electronic and thermal imaging products for the defense industry and optical-electronic devices of medical and civil designation. It offers rifle scopes, night vision rifle scopes, mounts for rifle scopes, mounts for night vision rifle scopes, side support mounts with lath, transient laths, magnifiers, devices for forest management and topographic works, cooking equipment, and medical equipment.
Nowadays it is a successfully developing enterprise of defense industry complex with powerful production and intellectual potential.
Since 2013 the Vologda optical-and-mechanical plant operates as a subsidiary of Shvabe Holding.
The Vologda optical-and-mechanical plant delivered its produce to Ireland within the framework of a contract concluded at the end of 2014.
