Vologda Oblast – Czech Republic: strive to develop partnership ties.

A delegation from the Czech Republic led by Consul General of the Czech Republic in St. Petersburg Mr. Karel Kyunl arrived in Vologda to define guidelines for further partnership ties.
In the course of the meeting with the local government officials and the city hall employees, it was decided to organize a Czech business mission in Vologda next spring. Czech entrepreneurs are eager to boost cooperation in mechanical engineering, metalworking, woodworking industry, environmental projects, and transportation. Vologda’s enterprises will be able to present their economic potential to the top leadership of Czech companies.
The friendly dialog between the Vologda Region and the Czech Republic will be continued in the sphere of tourism. The residents of Vologda are eager to learn more about today’s Czech Republic. Travel agencies regularly organize tours to the friendly country for them. At the same time, Vologda can be a magnet for Czech tourists. Vologda is a venue for numerous festivals, exhibitions and fairs, including international events. Every year visitors from Russia and abroad flock to Vologda to enjoy a wonderful taste of Russia.
