Vologda hosted the 22nd International Exhibition Russian Wood on December 6-8.

On December 6th-8th Vologda welcomed participants of the Russian Wood, exhibition for innovation technologies to be applied in the timber industry, in production of technological equipment for forestry and manufacture of wood and wood-working articles.
The Russian Wood provides a continuous dialogue between Russian and foreign governmental agencies and businesses, along with production facilities modernisation and assistance in attracting investment.
Over 200 exhibitors from twenty Russian regions and foreign companies from Belgium, Italy, Latvia, Finland and Belarus participated in exhibition activities.
Over 50 units of logging and woodworking equipment were on display in its exhibition space. Most public attention were paid to such forestry problems as intensive and efficient use of forest potential, application of state-of-the-art logging and wood processing technologies, bioenergetics development and other acute issues.
