Vologda enters top ten cities of Russia for trips in May.

The city of Vologda takes the sixth place in the list of Russia's most popular destinations in May, according to a study conducted by e-service for searching hotels RoomGuru.ru.

The study, which searched for the most popular and affordable options for tourists, compiled its results based on the number of hotel reservations between April 29 and May 10.

The top ten of the rating includes such Russian most popular cities as Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Kaliningrad, Nizhny Novgorod, Pskov, Veliky Novgorod, Sergiev Posad and and Vyborg.

Vologda has much to offer the discerning visitor. Vologda has a remarkable place on Russia's tourist map. With a unique cultural and historical heritage, the city, abundant with architectural monuments and arts, has great tourism potential.
