VII International Gavrilin Festival finished its work on April 26.

The festival is named after Valery Gavrilin, the great Russian composer, People's artist of Russia who was born in Vologda.
VII International Gavrilin Festival was held in Vologda on April 22-26.
The festival is organized by the RF Ministry of Culture with an active backing of the Vologda Oblast Government, Department of Culture and Tourism. The main objective of the event is to reveal new talents and to perpetuate the memory of Valery Gavrilin.
The competition is held in several different categories including piano, violin, cello, accordion, pop music and musical composition.
In 2019 the International Music Competition gathered 129 musicians from 24 Russian regions, and six foreign countries - Greece, Turkey, Japan, Italy, Kazakhstan and Belarus.
