Vologda is hosting an International Youth Science Forum.

The Science Forum has brought together top science students from Russia, CIS-states and foreign countries.
Founded in 2009, the International Youth Science Forum aims to give a deeper insight into science and its applications and to develop a greater understanding between young people.
The Youth Science Forum is a week-long student event held annually in Vologda. This year it has attracted over 1000 leading young scientists from 55 Russian universities and 28 educational establishments of Austria, Belarus, Germany, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Moldova, the USA, Tadzhikistan, Ukraine and Finland.
The Forum is held at Vologda’s universities. The participants at the Forum are often winners of national or international scientific competitions.
The International Youth Science Forum is organized by the Vologda State University with an active support of the Vologda Oblast Government.
