Vaccination campaign is escalating in Vologda Region.
20.04.2021 15:54

In the push to end the coronavirus pandemic, the local government plans to open 171 Covid-19 vaccination centres in the Vologda Region.
As of today, over 88,000 doses of vaccines have been supplied to the region along with production increase. 158 community vaccination hubs have already been opened throughout the region.
The region began its vaccination campaign in December 2020, making its first vaccine against the coronavirus available to high-risk groups (namely, teachers, doctors, and social workers). Mass vaccination against COVID-19 started in the Vologda Region on January 18th. Thus, the Vologda Region moved from large-scale to mass vaccination of the entire population against the coronavirus.
The local government is regularly extending the groups of residents who can sign up for vaccination. Authorities here plan to vaccinate 60% of the domestic population by the end of the year.
