Senegal became the largest consumer of Vologda’s ice cream in 2023.

In 2023, 139 tons of most delicious ice cream from the Vologda Region were exported to Senegal, a country in West Africa.
Recently, the last batch of Vologda’s ice cream weighing 7.8 tons has been sent to the West African state. The product has passed the necessary control and fully complied with the phytosanitary requirements of the importing country.
In total, in 2023, 334 tons of ice cream were delivered from the Vologda Region to six countries in Asia and Africa (Israel, Cameroon, Mongolia, Nigeria, Senegal, Uzbekistan).
