Marc Chagall prints and posters will be displayed in Cherepovets

The opening of the exhibition of Marc Chagall, a Russian-Jewish painter of the 20th century will take place at the Cherepovets Museum of Arts on February 7th. On display there will be prints and posters from the private German collections.
Marc Chagall (1887-1985) was a Russian-Jewish painter of the 20th century and one of the best known representatives of the Russian Avant-Garde in the West. Chagall painted in a style of his own, combining elements of expressionism, symbolism, and cubism.
