Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Preserve was presented at two international travel fairs.

Vologda’s experts participated in the 19th International Trade Fair for Travel & Tourism Intourmarket (ITM) which was held in Russia, Moscow on March 16-19.
Over the last week, thousands of people from all over the world have learned about the Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Reserve. The history and architecture of the ensemble of the largest Orthodox monastery in Europe attracted the attention of visitors at the Intourmarket and MITT exhibitions.
ITM ranks among the most significant events in the Russian tourism industry that is officially supported by the Russian Government, State Duma, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, the Russian Federal Agency for Tourism and other professional organizations contributing to the travel industry development in Russia.
This fair brings together hosted buyers and travel professionals from all Russian regions with Russian and international tourism key players. It impresses not only with its size and importance but also with the quality and diversity of the products and services presented. The International Travel & Hospitality Show (MITT) has been held annually in Moscow for the last 30 years. MITT is Russia’s largest and longest running travel exhibition. It is the key meeting place for the industry and an opportunity to catch up with colleagues and clients. In addition, it enables participants to increase awareness of their destination, gain a real feel for the Russian travel market and gauge demand for their services.
The participants of the travel exhibitions were shown temples and frescoes of the Kirillo-Belozersky Museum and monuments of ancient Russian painting from the Assumption Iconostasis. They were also told about the cenobitic charter of the Kirillo-Belozersky monastery, the exposition "Monk's Cell", the Refectory, where monks used to have meals, as well as the relics of the museum – the things of the founder of the monastery, the monk Kirill Belozersky.
