Kirillo-Belozersk Museum-Preserve marks the 90th anniversary of its foundation.

The majestic architectural ensemble of the Kirillo-Belozersk Museum with its 11 beautiful churches is one of the largest in Russia. It has kept architectural monuments of XV-XIX centuries, massive walls and towers.
Here in the land of white nights one can step back in time to an era that exemplified grace and tranquility where many Russian sanctuaries and sacred places are preserved in their original appearance.
Many tourists from Russia and foreign countries visit it every year. The Monastery was founded in the 14th century and soon became a great cultural and religious centre in Russia's North. It is famous for its rich collection of icons, church books, utensils, weapon and armour.
