IV International Lace Festival VITA LACE will start tomorrow in Vologda.

The International Lace Festival VITA LACE was held in Vologda three times - in 2011, 2014 and 2017.
From June 14th through 17th, 2022 Vologda will become home to IV International Lace Festival VITA LACE.
333 participants from the regions of Russia (Udmurtia, Perm Krai, Kirov Oblast, Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, Lipetsk Oblast, Oryol Oblast, Kurgan Oblast, Perm Krai, Chelyabinsk Oblast, Samara Oblast, Kirov Oblast, Novosibirsk Oblast), as well as from the Donetsk People's Republic, Estonia, Uzbekistan and Poland have registered for the festival.
IV International Lace Festival VITA LACE will be devoted to preservation and development of handicrafts as part of the original culture and heritage of the nation. The topic is especially important taking into account the fact that 2022 has been declared by the President of Russia the Year of Cultural Heritage of the Peoples of Russia.
The program of the festival includes lace making competitions and exhibitions, thematic lace making workshops, round-table discussions, fashion shows and numerous accompanying events of a creative and cultural nature.
The biggest lace making master class event will be held within the framework of the festival. Over 200 lace making masters from various regions of Russia and several foreign nations will participate in the event that will be held by the walls of the Vologda Kremlin.
