International Forum "Ecology: City, Economy, People" is being held in Vologda.

The International Environmental Forum has become the platform where activists in the field of ecology, researchers and experts in the area of ecosystem consider positive experience of implementation of ecological projects on the territory of the whole country.
The forum has brouhgt together experts in the field of environmental education and citizens of Vologda City of different age groups who are interested in ecology.
During the week, various contests, exhibitions, presentations, lectures and workshops aimed at environmental education of the population will be held in Vologda City. The forum will last till April 23.
The main event will be the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Ecology and Society: Balance of Interests" where participants will touch upon such topics as the “greening” of manufacturing and agro-industrial complex, the importance of an eco-friendly approach for sustainable development of territories and environmental education.
Vologda City will also share its experience in developing an environmental standard for the city. During the forum, representatives of enterprises and organizations of the city will brief on the results of the transition to a green economy, about energy efficiency technologies and energy conservation in their companies.
