Export of Vologda’s timber to India increased 1.5 times.

In March, 2025, 914 cubic meters of timber and sawn timber were sent from Vologda Region to India.
All products passed the necessary control and fully complied with the phytosanitary requirements of the importing country.
Since the beginning of the year, Vologda's timber exports to India have increased 1.5 times and amounted to 10.5 thousand cubic meters. During the same period of 2024, 6.7 thousand cubic meters of timber and lumber were exported to India. The export growth is 57%.
Since the beginning of 2025, 285,000 cubic meters of timber and sawn timber have been exported from the Vologda Region to 23 countries. This is 13% higher than in the same period of 2024 (251 thousand cubic meters).
