Educational system of Vologda Region was presented at the International RUSSIA Expo.

On February 18, a thematic Education Day was held in Moscow at the International RUSSIA EXPO Forum and Exhibition. The Vologda Region presented the results of key educational projects implemented in the region.
The International RUSSIA EXPO is held at VDNH in Moscow. The exposition shows the most important achievements of the country gathered in one place. Visitors are presented expositions of 89 Russian regions, leading federal departments, corporations and public organizations.
“Thanks to the implementation of the national project "Education" in the Vologda Region, the quality of the infrastructure and content of the regional education system has changed significantly. New schools and kindergartens are opening, the material and technical base of educational organizations is being updated, modern educational centers and technology parks are opening, and the education system and the modern system of secondary vocational education are actively developing. Every school in the region has a school museum, a sports club and a theater," said Alexander Ershov, Deputy Governor of the Vologda Region.
Vologda Region ranks 1st among the subjects of the Russian Federation in terms of additional education programs for children aged 5 to 18 years, 7th place in terms of assessing the quality and objectivity of evaluation procedures, 6th place in terms of the effectiveness of participation and 9th place in terms of the number of winners and prize-winners of the All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren.
At the Vologda Region stand, the guests of the exhibition took part in interactive presentations, master classes and quizzes organized by the educational organizations of the Vologda Region.
