Delegations from Colombia and Armenia visited Vologda Region.

Representatives of foreign countries came to the Russian Hunting Festival which took place last weekend in the Vologda Region. They got acquainted with new itineraries of the region and ecotourism opportunities, hunting and cultural traditions of the Russian North and tasted food products of our region.
Inna Sinyagina, head of the Governor's Administrative Office noted that the guests were very impressed by the unique local flavor and the great atmosphere of the Russian village, Vologda lace and our architectural monuments.
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Colombia to the Russian Federation learned about the Vologda Region at the presentation of the region held at the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in June 2022 and he immediately decided to find an opportunity to visit it.
On a visit to Vologda, representatives of the Armenian Consulate General in St. Petersburg agreed to establish a twin city partnership between Vologda and the Armenian city of Gyumri. They also discussed preparation of Ded Moroz’ New Year trip to Armenia this December.
