Ded Moroz Train is to arrive in Vologda on January 10.

Ded Moroz set off on his trip to Russian regions on November 19, 2025. Ded Moroz' traditional New Year trip will last till January 11, 2026. The train will stop at over 70 Russian cities and towns.
The Ded Moroz Train is a winter wonderland where children and their parents gather to make memories they’ll treasure year after year. The railcars are decorated beautifully to celebrate the season.
The New Year project “Ded Moroz Train” is implemented by Russian Railways together with the Vologda Region Government. Ded Moroz in his mobile residence travels to Russian cities, congratulates children, and fulfills their wishes. In every city where the Ded Moroz Train makes a stop, visitors to the stations enjoy an entertaining festive program with the participation of artists and animators.
The Ded Moroz Train consists of several decorated wagons. Some of them are occupied by technical staff and an animation team. It also includes a residence car of Ded Moroz with a bedroom, a dining car and a gift shop where one can buy souvenirs or send a letter to Russia's chief magician.
Since the first trip in 2021, the fabulous train has traveled more than 108,000 kilometers, visited 302 cities and spent 244 days on the road. Almost two million people met him at train stations.
