Current problems of forestry development to be discussed at VSU

The XIX International Scientific and Technical Conference will be held at Vologda State University on December 7, 2021. The event will be held face-to-face and remotely.
Vyacheslav Priyatelev, the rector of Vologda State University; Roman Markov, the head of the Department of Forestry of the Vologda Oblast; Alexey Glinushkin, member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Director of the All-Russian Research Institute of Phytopathology will attend the conference.
The plenary session will be moderated by Svetlana Khamitova, Associate Professor of the Department of Geography and Environmental Management at VSU, and Alexander Pestovsky, researcher at the All-Russian Research Institute of Phytopathology.
Scientists from Belarus, the Czech Republic, Tatarstan, and the Arkhangelsk region are among the participants of the conference. The topics of scientific reports include such areas as assessment of the decorative features of urban plantings, wooden house construction, and contemporary trends in the study of forest soils.
