15 kg of sturgeon caviar were sent from Vologda Region to Serbia.

The Vologda Region continues ongoing expansion of its sales geographically and in terms of export volume. It is carried out within the framework of the regional project "Export of Agricultural Products" of the national project "International Cooperation and Export" initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Black caviar is one of the most expensive food products in the world. The Vologda Region produces black caviar at the only enterprise, Diana, which is a part of the Russian Caviar House group of companies.
Russia's largest company for raising sturgeon in a hatchery and harvesting black caviar is located in Kadui District. The waterways' advantageous location next to the local hydroelectric station that provides hot water allows this thermophilic precious breed of fish to be raised all-year round.
Since the beginning of 2024, 47.6 kg of sturgeon caviar have been exported from the Vologda Region to Indonesia, Jordan and Serbia.
