Means and facilities of the territorial subsystem of Emergency Situation Department of the Vologda Oblast are ready for reliable and trouble-free passage of spring high water, said Vologda Oblast Governor Oleg Kuvshinnikov at a meeting with representatives of the RF Ministry of Emergency Situations and RF Defence Ministry.

Meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin
Vladimir Putin had a working meeting with Vologda Region Governor Oleg Kuvshinnikov to discuss the socioeconomic situation and the industrial development in the region.

Via the Internet conference, Oleg Kuvshinnikov and Alexander Gutsan, Presidential Plenipotentiary to Northwestern Federal District discussed readiness of the Vologda Region for reliable and accident-free passage of snowmelt floods and flood waters.
