Governor Mr. Kuvshinnikov congratulated agriculture and processing industry workers on their professional holiday - Agriculture and Processing Industry Workers’ Day.
Students of the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration were the first to get acquainted with Oleg Kuvshinnikov's autobiographical book "How to Become/Be a Governor and Stay Alive ". Mr. Kuvshinnikov briefed on his experience of management of the region and told about the book. Oleg Kuvshinnikov is a graduate of the Academy - he graduated from it in 2005 (faculty of management and international business).
Authorities of Vologda Region introduce QR-code system and new restrictions- only holders of QR-codes will be able to enter public catering establishments and cultural events.
At 4.00 pm, Oleg Kuvshinnikov will answer questions concerning health care system and COVID-19 vaccination. The governor will tell residents of the Vologda Region about the reasons and prospects for the introduction of new restrictive measures.

RUB 4.8 million have been allocated from the federal budget to replenish the book funds in the Vologda Region. The corresponding decree was signed by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin in early September.

Local government authorities took part in a tree planting campaign.
The tree planting campaign "Let's save the forest" took place in the Vologda District. On the eve of the Day of Forest Workers, the Governor of the region planted 150 young pines together with deputies, forest industry workers and students of secondary schools.
Sixteen new emergency vehicles will be shipped to rural districts of the Vologda Region. GLONASS is installed in all cars, the emergency vehicles are also equipped with state-of-the-art outfit for first aid.
